You have something important to say, and you want people to listen. Music strengthens the impact of your message, inviting people to hear and feel your words in a new (and often unexpected) light. I will synthesize your most important thoughts into a compelling, creative and meaningful message delivered through song.
My approach utilizes a combination of careful listening, innate intuition, expert songwriting skills, and extensive knowledge of the therapeutic and psychological effects of music. I have composed music for speakers summarizing their key points, couples/families expressing their love, and organizations looking for innovative ways to share their message, product or service. My process is a simple one, and typically involves a live performance of your new song:
Let's break that down:
1. CONSULTATION - A free, no-strings-attached conversation: I’ll guide you through some basic questions and propose how a new song could best meet your goals. All of your questions are welcome at this meeting.
2. CONTRACT - If we're a good match, I’ll email you a simple contract with a timeline, payment plan and delivery method that works for both of us.
3. CREATION - Once we have agreed on our approach and all the content that is important to you, I’ll jump into the composition of your new song!
4. FINAL EDIT - I’ll email you a rough recording of your song, to make sure that you are on board (rather, that you are thrilled) with the product so far. I’ll also integrate any minor changes/requests you may have at this stage.
5. DELIVERY - I’ll deliver your stunning, finished song in the form of a live performance, video or audio recording. When you receive your song, you weep at its beauty, gasp at its effectiveness, immediately share it with everyone you know, and call me the next morning to work together again! (That last part is optional, but happens often, and is most welcome.)

How long does it take?
My process can take from 1 week to 3 months, depending on the scope of the project, your needs and my availability. I always do my best to accommodate my clients! How much does it cost?
My prices vary with the scope of each project. As you can imagine, recording a multi-instrument theme song for a national organization may require a more intensive approach than a simple, acappella lullaby. |
